Among DropBox Inc.'s product line, our Industrial Packaging Group 1/Strong-Tight (IP-1) Nuclear Storage Containers will meet the specified requirements for closures, risers, lifting capabilities, finishes, and other designs that are used on your jobsite.

Certified by the Department of Transportation, these standard and customizable containers are available in custom sizes ranging from 8'x10' to 8'x40' that meet 49CFR-173.24(a), (b), and 173.410 requirements. Each build also receives a Certification of Compliance and an Analysis Package to certify the containers to the appropriate DOT shipping specification. By doing so, we can ensure that each and every customer receives a container that meets industry standards and the needs of their companies.

To guarantee that each of these open-top containers can safely hold the items that are placed inside, a seal welded, steel floor is inserted and then tested for tightness and potential leaking. Couplings are also installed for a nuclear grade filter. As a result, we can increase the safety of numerous project sites and the site workers within each of them!

Each day, men and women work on jobsites to ensure that their companies' projects are completed with the hard work and dedication that are needed to do so. In order for these site workers to be at their best, it's important for them to have somewhere in the workplace where they can regain their energy. That's why DropBox Inc. creates on-site portable work stations to give site workers a secure and climate-controlled area to take their breaks, have lunch, and more.

Our customizable work stations provide a safe and secure area to store tools, make repairs, and anything else needed on-site. This includes creating tool cribs, shelving, and on-site hose repair in order for site workers to complete their tasks in an organized and efficient manner.

Once a portable work station arrives at a project site, it's ready to use when it's connected to a nearby power source. By doing this, site workers will have the ability to access lighting and electrical outlets for things such as power tools.

DropBox Inc. works hard to create products that'll help make other companies' jobs easier to perform. We believe that by thinking inside the box, it gives our customers more time to think outside the box!

DropBox Inc. Supplies Shower Shack to Coal Mine in Wyoming

Posted on Tue, Oct 22, 2019 @ 13:10 PM

DropBox Inc, shower shack, ReinventingTheBox, Wisconsin, coal mine, Special Bituminous Coal Mine, PacifiCorp

DropBox Inc. continues to receive projects that take on different areas of industry. Most recently, Sales Representative, Shane Meadows, sold a shower shack to a 13,400-acre surface mine complex located in the southwest corner of Wyoming. This Special Bituminous Coal Mine currently produces coal in three active areas from 12 primary seams and their splits. The seams are steeply dipping at 17° to 20°.

Once the coal is produced by this mine, it's used to supply fuel to PacifiCorp’s adjacent Naughton Power Station via overland conveyor and Trona mine customers, approximately 60 miles east of Kemmerer, via truck and rail.

When asked to give a quote about the project, Meadows had this to say about it:

This sale came from a lead generated through our website and CRM in April of this year. The contact and I stayed in touch for months, and the sale was finalized on September 10th. Through some great work from our engineering group, the shower shack's design was approved by the customer on September 24th. The project is still currently under construction, but this shower unit will prove to be a nice asset for the mine. They will be able to place it at a convenient location on this large surface mine span for the miners to be able to freshen up at the end of their shifts. This will also help the miners save their facilities at their personal residences from wear-and-tear by being able to get the grit from the mines off of them before heading home to their families.

This project is a prime example of mines continuing to operate while they're in a robust economy. DropBox Inc. is excited to be a part of this continuation and eager to work with the mining industry on future projects!

Ashland Alliance Community Leadership Development Brings Tour Group to Worthington Facility

Posted on Thu, Oct 17, 2019 @ 16:10 PM

DropBox Inc, shipping container modifications company, MSSI, Portable Solutions Group, Ashland CLD

Just like our President & CEO, Robert Slagel, our company's goals are to grow jobs in Appalachia and to restore a level of hope to the people of Appalachia through direct or indirect job creation. As a result, Slagel and his companies have been seen as inspirations by the people of the Tri-State area. More specifically, the group known as the Ashland Alliance Community Leadership Development (CLD).

On Wednesday, October 16th, this group visited our Worthington facility where they learned about what products we make, our manufacturing process, and much more. Miles Duncil, Marketing/SEO/SEM, led the tour of the facility. Duncil said, "I’ve been doing the tours of our facility since 2011. I really enjoy the opportunity to meet community members, talk about the great products that we offer, and discuss the jobs we work to create right here in eastern Kentucky.

The Ashland CLD visits industry leaders within the Tri-State in order for their groups to gain insight on each company's process and to see how each leader got to where they are today. Being one of the few job creators in the area, PSG has been given the opportunity to become a part of their tours. By allowing them to tour our facility, they no longer have to travel as far as South Shore, KY and Portsmouth, OH to find businesses to visit.

We would like to thank the Ashland CLD and the individuals involved for taking the time to visit our facility, and we look forward to your next visit!

DropBox Inc, MSSI, Portable Solutions Group, major award

In honor of hard work and a "can-do" attitude, Portable Solutions Group recognizes Brian Dufore as the 2019 third quarter recipient of its Major Award. Brian started in 2017 as a manufacturing floor trade and was quickly promoted to Floor Manager at our Worthington facility early 2018. Brian came in at an early growth period and has continued to help our company grow. Brian is a knowledgeable leader but also hands-on when needed. He has no issue putting a paint brush in his hand to get a product out to our customers.

Portable Solutions Group is moving towards its best year ever, and it would not be possible without Brian. The Worthington facility has shipped almost one hundred units in the first three quarters. Units range from standard MSSI MAC products to complex DropBox projects including DHS On-Dock Rail Straddle Carrier Portal and CNS PVD Process Facility. We'd like to congratulate Brian for winning the Major Award and wish him continued success with our family of companies.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Delta Marriott Hotel Symbolizes Revitalization of the Tri-State Area

Posted on Thu, Sep 19, 2019 @ 14:09 PM

DropBox Inc, Robert Slagel, ribbon cutting, Delta Hotels by Marriott, Ashland, Kentucky

As leaders within the Tri-State and Appalachia continue to work to achieve economic prosperity for the area, another step was taken on Tuesday, September 17th toward that goal. The Delta Marriott Hotel in downtown Ashland, Kentucky was officially opened with a commemorative ribbon cutting ceremony. The ceremony also included food, drink, and inspirational speeches from the hotel's leaders.

As an advocate for the revitalization of the Tri-State area and Appalachia, President and CEO, Robert Slagel, was in attendance to represent the company and signify its support. For future events, PSG plans to add the Delta to its list of suggestions for overnight stays for visiting customers and vendors. When PSG's out-of-town guests opt to stay at this hotel, their stays will not only include luxurious rooms and impeccable service, but also free access to "The Pantry" which is a clubhouse that offers complimentary snacks, drinks, and much more!

"I view the official ribbon cutting and opening of the Delta Marriott Hotel as another, significant, step toward the revitalization of the Tri-State. This celebration symbolizes our economic renaissance that is currently underway," said Slagel. "We at PSG were honored to be invited to celebrate the grand opening of a beautiful facility that is sure to be a real asset to people who are traveling to our area for business or pleasure. This is another great example of people working together and being forward-thinking, investing in the future for the Tri-State and beyond,” he continued.

We at DropBox Inc. can't wait to see the Delta Marriott hotel flourish and bring more people to our wonderful area! For more information on the hotel, click here to visit its website.

DropBox Inc. Continues to Reinvent the Box with Portable Bus Stops

Posted on Tue, Sep 17, 2019 @ 10:09 AM

bus stop collage

If you can think it, we can turn into a box! As DropBox Inc. continues to grow and develop, our employees find new ways to create custom shipping container products for companies all across the U.S. in order to meet their job sites' specific needs. From our running water restrooms to our modular chemistry labs, we can take a standard ISO shipping container and turn it into something innovative. In other words, we are Reinventing the Box!

So how has DropBox Inc. reinvented the box this time? By turning shipping containers into portable bus stops! These portable bus stops are being shipped to a location in Nevada and will be used to hold employees who are waiting for their company bus to take them to their project site. Since these employees are required to work day and night shifts, the bus stops also include solar panels on top of them to use the sun's energy to light the boxes at night for extra safety measures.

This is not only exciting for DropBox Inc. because it's a new product variation, but also because Shane Meadows' (pictured above) closed his very first sale that he made as a DropBox Sales Representative! When asked about this sale, Meadows was very excited. "It was an excellent learning experience and I had a great customer to deal with. The entire staff at PSG was so helpful with answering questions and working with me throughout the whole closing process. It was a wonderful feeling seeing how excited the whole staff was for me to close on my first sale," he said.

We would like to congratulate Shane Meadows on officially closing his first sale that he made with the company. Looking towards the future, DropBox Inc. and its employees are eager to continue taking on new projects and finding new ways to reinvent the box!
