DropBox Inc. recently began construction on a new Blast Resistant Office that was engineered and designed to have a PSI over rating of 5.0. Much like the 1.5 and 3.0 PSI
Blast Boxes that DropBox Inc. has built in the past this
ISO shipping container modification has been reinforced with additional steel beams to ensure its structural integrity in the case of an explosion. When it comes to
blast resistant modules such as these the most important factor for DropBox customers is the safety of their employees.

Working in explosion prone work environments like petro-chemical plants, refineries, power plants, and mines can lead to the need for additional measures being taken to ensure the safety of employees. A number of these facilities are turning to the
shipping container modification industry to provide
portable blast resistant offices and breakrooms for their employees. "Although it is rare that explosions take place it is better to be safe than sorry," says one employee at the Marathon Cattlettsburg Refinery where 6 Blast Boxes were just recently delivered.
