DropBox Inc. Building Portable Labs from ISO Shipping Containers

DropBox Inc. recently received an order for three 40' ISO shipping container modifications that will be used as portable labs for a power plant in the mid west. This customer, who has purchased shipping container modifications from DropBox Inc. in the past, was so impressed with previously purchased products that they asked DropBox Inc. to design and build three modular labs to use for testing at their site. Like most DropBox Inc. products these connex container modifications are fully insulated, and wired for electrical outlets and over head lighting. Unlike typical units of this size DropBox Inc. has replaced it's standard HVAC unit with a 2 ton Bard HVAC system with ducts to evenly distribute air throughout the unit. This added level of climate control was requested by the customer to sustain a steady temperature for these portal labs.

With these shipping container modifications nearly complete the only thing left to do is install vent covers for the HVAC ducts and lay the tile flooring. Once the interior of the unit is complete the exterior will be painted and the unit will be wrapped before shipping. These three modular labs and the order for them are a testament to the top shelf connex container modification company that DropBox Inc. has become. "If we hadn't done such a great job on the last three modifications we sent to this customer, we would not have received this order. When we build quality products our customers see that and word spreads. This leads to more builds and more sales.", stated Matt Vonderheide, Business Manager for DropBox Inc.
