Shipping Container Modification Projects Abound at DropBox Inc.

The temperature inside the manufacturing facility for DropBox Inc. is on the rise. With eleven 40' Blast Boxes, six 40' Power Supply Boxes, two 40' Switch Gear container modifications, a 20' Decontamination Station, and a massive Guard Office under construction business is booming at DropBox Inc.

The custom shipping container modification pictured above is soon to be a modular guard office with a nurses station, a restroom, and a waiting area. It is being built out of two 40' ISO shipping containers that have been cut to fit together and will have three entry/exit doors and five windows. Once complete the unit will be fully insulated and climate controlled to supply additional space for safety and security personnel at a local chemical plant.

Pictured here a 20' shipping container is being modified into a portable Decontamination Station that will have showers, and a filtration system to remove Asbestos, Arsenic, Lead, and Hexachrome for abatement workers. DropBox Inc. has built a number of Decontamination Stations over the past couple of years but this unit will be the first to be modified from a 20' ISO shipping container as opposed to the standard 40' unit.

After completing construction and delivery of 9 Blast Boxes over the last few weeks DropBox Inc. has just recently recieved an order for 11 more blast resistant units (pictured above). These custom shipping container modifications have an over pressure rating of 1.5 and 3.0 PSI and will be used as mobile tool cribs, offices, and break rooms at refineries in Kentucky and Ohio.
