DropBox Inc. Delivers Blast Resistant Shipping Container Modification

DropBox Inc. just loaded the first three of nine Blast Resistant Shipping Container Modifications that will be used as break rooms and office facilities at a refinery in Ohio. According to officials at the facility these "Blast Box" units will be used to support the influx of tradesmen that will be working on site for the duration of their major project. "Having used DropBox in the past the people at the refinery felt assured that we could come up with the best design to meet the needs of their project", stated Matthew Vonderheide, Business Manager for DropBox Inc.
These Blast Resistant Office/Break rooms have been engineered and manufactured from ISO shipping containers to be able to withstand a blast of 1.5 PSI over pressure rating. By building these units from conex boxes a level of blast resistance is assured via the construction and rigidity of the corten steel shipping container. Additional interior finishings, including insulation and wall treatments combined with lighting and HVAC systems make the "Blast Box" a safe and comfortable place for workers on site to take breaks and to facilitate meetings.
